Paige Bogardus creates still life paintings and drawings that seek to remind the viewer of the beauty that’s held in the everyday objects that they often overlook. Always striving towards hyper-realism, she’s been drawing ever since she could hold a pencil and in 2017 earned a B.A. in Fine Arts from Union College. Today her work focuses on oil paintings and pen & ink pointillism drawings. Her pointillism drawings are composed of millions of tiny dots, all coinciding to form one uniform image that seeks to astound the viewer. She seeks to use color as an accent to her work and use grayscale as way for the still life to take on an other worldly quality. Currently resides and works in the Kansas City Metropolitan Area.
